One Question Changes Everything

What happens to you after death? Have you thought about this question seriously? No one can escape it: not the rich, not the poor, not the educated, not the uneducated, not the young, and not the old. Every human being on the face of the earth will one day stand before this question. Whether you grew up in a religious family or in a home that knows nothing about religion, whether you pray every day or have never prayed in your life, whether you are Arab or foreign, this question concerns you personally.

The good news is that the answer truly exists. Perhaps you tried to find the answer in the religion you grew up with, or perhaps you left religion altogether because it did not convince you. Perhaps you said to yourself: no one knows what comes after death. But God did not leave us in darkness and confusion. God gave us His Holy Bible, and in it He answered this question with complete clarity. Let us read the answer together with simplicity and honesty, without difficult words and without complicated terminology.

"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." — 1 John 5:11

First: God Is One

Before anything else, we want to clarify a basic truth: God is one. Not two, not three, and not ten. Only one God. This is what the Holy Bible teaches from beginning to end. You may have heard that Christians worship three gods. This is completely false. We worship one God. The Holy Bible says:

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD." — Deuteronomy 6:4
"For there is one God; and there is none other but he." — Mark 12:32

So this point is clear and settled: God is one. We do not worship three gods, and we have never worshipped three gods. Only one God. This is the foundation of everything we will say after this. And if you understand this point well, you will understand everything that comes after it.

Second: God Has an Eternal Word

Every person has a word. When you speak, your word comes out from you and expresses you. Your word is not another person separate from you. Your word is you. Can you separate yourself from your word? Impossible. Your word is part of you and cannot be separated from you.

Now listen to what the Holy Bible says about God and His Word:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." — John 1:1

What does this mean? It means three very simple truths.

The first truth: "In the beginning was the Word," meaning that the Word of God existed from eternity, before all things, before creation, and before time itself. He was not created and not made. Rather, He always existed.

The second truth: "the Word was with God," meaning that the Word of God was with God in eternity.

The third truth: "and the Word was God," meaning that the Word of God is God Himself. Not a second God, but God Himself.

Then the Holy Bible says something very great:

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory." — John 1:14

This means that the eternal Word of God appeared in the form of a man and walked among people on earth. This man's name is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God who appeared in a human body.

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh." — 1 Timothy 3:16

A Very Important Clarification: What Does "Son of God" Mean?

Many people hear the expression "Son of God" and think Christians are saying that Allah, the god of Islam, married a woman and had a child in the known physical way. This is a grave error. Not one true Christian in history has ever said this. God did not marry Mary, and He did not beget a Son in the physical sense. God forbid such a thought.

The expression "Son of God" simply means the Word of God. The eternal Word who was with God and was God, this Word appeared in a human body. Exactly as we said: your word is you and cannot be separated from you. The Word of God is God and cannot be separated from Him. God is one, and His Word is not a second God, but His expression of Himself.

Third: The Great Problem, Sin

What is sin? Sin is anything you do, say, or think that goes against what God wants. Lying is sin. Stealing is sin. Hatred is sin. Envy is sin. A lustful look is sin. Pride is sin. And every human being, without one exception, has committed sins in his life. The Holy Bible says clearly:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." — Romans 3:23

All. There is no exception. Not the prophets, not kings, not scholars, not the righteous, not you, and not me. There is not one person on the face of the earth who can stand before God and say: I have never sinned. Perhaps you say: I am a good person and I have not harmed anyone. But God does not compare you to people. God compares you to His own perfection. And before God's absolute perfection, every man falls short. And what is the result of sin?

"For the wages of sin is death." — Romans 6:23

The word "death" here does not only mean the death of the body. It means eternal separation from God. This means that the person who dies in his sins without forgiveness will be separated from God forever. This is the most serious thing that can happen to any human being.

The problem is that no one can save himself from this destiny. No amount of prayer is enough. No amount of fasting is enough. No charitable works are enough. No pilgrimage, church sacraments, or religious rituals are enough. Why? Because one sin is enough to condemn you before a holy and perfect God who does not accept any sin, however small it may be.

Fourth: The Solution, What God Did for You

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." — John 3:16

Remember: "His Son" here means "His eternal Word," as we explained, not a son in the physical sense. God loved the world, meaning He loved every human being without exception. He loved you personally. So He gave His eternal Word for you.

Because God truly loves you, He did what you could not do. The eternal Word of God appeared in a human body, the Lord Jesus Christ, and lived on earth a perfect life without one sin. He never lied once. He never wronged one person. He never sinned in one thought. Then He died on the cross, not because He had sinned, but because He bore your sins and my sins in His body and paid their price with His blood. Then He was buried and rose alive from the dead after three days.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." — Romans 5:8
"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." — 2 Corinthians 5:21

What does this mean in simple words? It means that the Lord Jesus Christ, who never committed one sin in His life, took your sins upon Himself and paid their price completely. Like an innocent person entering prison in your place and paying the full penalty so that you can go out free. His resurrection from the dead is the decisive proof that God accepted this sacrifice and that the price was paid in full.

Fifth: How Do You Receive This Salvation?

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." — Ephesians 2:8–9

What does the word "grace" mean? Grace means that God gives you something you do not deserve freely, without your paying its price and without your working for it. Salvation is a free gift, like a present. You do not buy a gift and you do not deserve it. You only receive it. And how do you receive this gift? By faith, meaning that you trust from your heart that the Lord Jesus Christ died for you and rose again for you, and that He alone can save you. Not merely mental faith, meaning not simply saying, "Yes, I believe this," without it touching your heart. True faith means placing your complete trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, like someone sitting on a chair, trusting that it will hold him.

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." — Acts 16:31

Only one condition: faith. Not faith plus good works. Not faith plus keeping the law. Not faith plus church sacraments and saints, as the Catholic and Orthodox churches teach. Not faith plus belonging to a human organization, as Jehovah's Witnesses say. Not faith plus pillars and religious duties, as in Islam. Not self-meditation, as in Buddhism. Not polytheism, as in Hinduism. Rather, the one true God who created you loves you personally and calls you to know Him. And not merely family membership in a Christian family without personal faith, because being born in a Christian home does not make you a true Christian before God. And not denying the existence of God, as atheists say, because all creation bears witness to the existence of a great Creator.

Salvation is by faith alone. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, and you will be saved.

Sixth: Your Salvation Is Guaranteed Forever

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." — John 10:28
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." — John 5:24

When you truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ from your heart, at that very moment you receive eternal life. Not after death, but now, immediately, in this moment. And this life is never taken away from you. Why? Because it is not built on your works, but on God's own promise. If your salvation depended on your works, then all of us would be in danger because all of us sin. But your salvation depends on the faithfulness of God, and God does not lie and does not break His promise. "They shall never perish," this is not the word of a man, but the promise of God who created the heavens and the earth. You are in the hand of God, and there is no power in the whole universe, not sin, not man, not Satan, and not anything else, that can pluck you out of His hand.

The Prayer of Faith: Speak with God Now

If you have understood what you read and you are ready to place your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, speak with God now directly. You do not need a special place, a special time, or a person to mediate between you and God. God hears you wherever you are. Speak with Him from your heart. You can say something like this:

"O Great, Holy, and Loving True God, I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself by my works. I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is Your eternal Word, that He died on the cross for me and paid the price of my sins with His precious blood, and that He rose from the dead alive. I now place my complete trust in Him alone for my salvation, not in my works, not in my prayers, not in my rituals, and not in any person or organization, but in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. Thank You, my God, for the free gift of eternal life that You have given me in this moment. Amen."

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." — Romans 10:13

What Comes after Faith?

If you have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ from your heart, congratulations. You now have eternal life by the promise of God, who does not lie. Your salvation is not conditional upon your future works. Rather, it is a guaranteed gift from God that does not change and is not withdrawn. And now a beautiful journey begins, the journey of knowing God more and living a life that pleases Him and brings you joy.

Read the Holy Bible every day. Begin with the Gospel of John on this website. One chapter every day is enough for a beginning. Before you read, ask God to help you understand what you read, and He will do it. Then pray every day. Prayer is not memorized words, not complicated rituals, and it does not need a human mediator. Prayer is simply honest conversation with God, as if you are speaking with a Father who loves you, hears you, and cares for you. Thank Him for your salvation and ask His help in your daily life. Look for people who believe the Holy Bible and teach it faithfully. Do not walk alone in this journey. And tell those around you what God has done in your life. You do not need to be a scholar or a preacher. Just tell them honestly how the Lord Jesus Christ changed you and what He did for you.

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." — Philippians 1:6

The Historical Evidences for the Death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ

The Christian faith is not built on religious myths, but on historical events. The death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection from the dead on the third day are two historical events documented by decisive evidences. Let us meditate on these evidences.

First: The Death of the Lord Jesus Christ Is a Confirmed Historical Event

All serious historians, including non-Christians, accept that the Lord Jesus Christ was truly crucified. The Jewish historian Josephus, the Roman historian Tacitus, and the Greek writer Lucian all mention this event. Roman soldiers were experts in killing, and they would have been held accountable with their lives if they allowed a condemned man to survive. One of them pierced the Lord Jesus Christ in His side, and blood and water came out, a known medical sign of actual death.

Second: The Empty Tomb Is a Historical Fact

All the accounts agree that the tomb of the Lord Jesus Christ was found empty on Sunday morning. Even the enemies of the Lord Jesus Christ could not deny this. They claimed that the disciples stole the body, but this explanation is absurd for two reasons: the disciples were afraid and fleeing, and the tomb was guarded by a Roman seal and armed guards. If the body had been in the tomb, the Jewish authorities would have brought it out to end the claims of resurrection. But they could not.

Third: The Appearances of the Lord Jesus Christ after the Resurrection

"And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present." — 1 Corinthians 15:5–6

The apostle Paul wrote this while most of the witnesses were still alive. Anyone could investigate their testimonies. Five hundred people cannot have the same hallucination at the same time. This is a decisive collective testimony.

Fourth: The Disciples Were Transformed from Fearful Men into Bold Men

Before the resurrection, all the disciples fled out of fear. Peter denied the Lord Jesus Christ three times before a maid. After the resurrection, the disciples became bold unto death. Ten out of the twelve died as martyrs. If the resurrection were a lie they had invented, they would have confessed it to avoid death. But they died while holding fast to their testimony. No one dies for a lie he knows is a lie. They died because they saw the risen Lord Jesus Christ with their own eyes.

The Essential Difference between Religion and the Gospel

All the religions of the world say to man: "Work in order to reach God." The Gospel alone says: "God worked in order to reach you." This difference changes everything.

Religion: Man Ascends

In every religion, man tries to ascend to God by his works. He prays in a certain way. He fasts on specific days. He gives to the poor. He performs rituals. He avoids forbidden things. All of these are human attempts to reach God. The problem is this: no one knows when the works are enough. Have you prayed enough? Have you given enough? Have you avoided sins enough? No certainty, no peace, no rest.

The Gospel: God Descends

In the Gospel, God Himself came. The Lord Jesus Christ came down from heaven, became incarnate, lived a perfect life, died on the cross, and rose on the third day. He completed the work that no man could complete. He Himself opened the way to God. You are not the one who ascends. The Lord Jesus Christ came down. All you must do is receive what He completed. This is great rest.

Religion Produces Fear, the Gospel Produces Peace

The person who depends on his works lives in constant fear. Fear of death. Fear of judgment. Fear of the future. The one who receives the Gospel obtains peace that passeth understanding, because his salvation does not depend on his works, but on the complete work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

How Do You Know That You Are Truly Saved?

After faith, many ask, "Am I truly saved?" The Holy Bible gives us four marks of true salvation.

The First Mark: The Inner Witness of the Holy Ghost

"The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God." — Romans 8:16

When you truly believe, the Holy Ghost places a witness in your heart that you are a child of God. This is not merely an emotional feeling, but a deep confidence that does not shake. You can say with confidence: "I am a child of God."

The Second Mark: A Change in Desires

Before faith, you found sin enjoyable and the Word of God boring. After faith, the opposite happens. You find sin hateful and the Word of God sweet. This transformation is not pretence, but a real experience. If it has not happened, then you have not truly believed yet.

The Third Mark: Love for Believers

"We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren." — 1 John 3:14

The true believer feels a spiritual closeness with other believers. He rejoices in their company. He loves their church. He prefers spending time with them over spending it with unbelievers. This is not a human emotion, but the fruit of the Holy Ghost.

The Fourth Mark: Practical Obedience to the Word of God

This does not mean perfection. No one is perfect. It means the direction of the heart. The true believer wants to obey God, grieves when he fails, repents, and continues. The unbeliever may try to obey, but he does not find a true heart motive.

What Changes after Receiving the Lord Jesus Christ?

Six transformations happen at the moment of faith.

First: You Pass from Death unto Life

You were spiritually dead, separated from God. Now you are spiritually alive, connected to the source of life.

Second: You Pass from Darkness unto Light

You were living in the darkness of ignorance and sin. Now you live in the light of God, which reveals the truth and directs your way.

Third: You Become a Child of God

You were a slave of sin. Now you are a child of God who created you. You can call Him "Father" with complete confidence.

Fourth: The Holy Ghost Dwells in You

You were alone. Now you have a Comforter, Guide, and Teacher dwelling in you forever.

Fifth: You Receive a Place in Heaven

Your eternal destiny was dark. Now you have an inheritance in heaven reserved for you. When you die, you pass directly into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Sixth: You Become Part of the Family of God

You were a stranger. Now you have a worldwide family of believers in every part of the world and across all ages.

Common Objections to the Gospel and Their Answers

The First Objection: "I Am a Good Person. I Do Not Need a Saviour."

The Holy Bible is clear: "There is none righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10). The standard is not your comparison with others, but the infinite holiness of God. Even "good" people have fallen short of this standard. The question is not whether you are better than your neighbour, but whether you are perfect like God. The answer is no.

The Second Objection: "The Gospel Does Not Fit My Culture."

The Gospel is not a culture, but a truth. The Lord Jesus Christ died for all mankind from every culture. Truth does not change according to culture. 2 + 2 = 4 in every language. Likewise, the Gospel is true in every culture.

The Third Objection: "I Will Think about It Later."

Delay is dangerous. You do not know when your last day will come. The Lord Jesus Christ calls you today. Tomorrow may not belong to you. The Holy Bible says: "behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2). Now, not later.

The Prayer of Faith: How to Receive the Lord Jesus Christ Now

If you are ready to believe, you can pray a simple prayer from your heart. There are no magic words. What matters is the faith of your heart. A prayer like this may help you:

"O Great, Holy, and Loving True God, I confess that I am a sinner and that I need a Saviour. I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins, and that He rose from the dead on the third day. I now receive Him as my personal Saviour. Forgive my sins. Give me eternal life. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen."

If you prayed this prayer with true faith, congratulations. You are now a child of God. Your salvation is guaranteed. Your eternal life has begun. Do not forget:

First, read the Holy Bible daily. Begin with the Gospel of John.

Second, pray daily. Speak with God as your Father.

Third, look for a local church that teaches the Holy Bible and join it.

Fourth, tell someone you trust that you received the Lord Jesus Christ. Public testimony strengthens your faith.

What Do We Mean by "Son of God"? The Eternal Word of God

Here is where the greatest misunderstanding occurs for many people, especially our Muslim brothers. When a Muslim hears the expression "Son of God," what immediately comes to his mind is that Christians are saying that Allah, the god of Islam, exalted be he above what they say, married the virgin Mary and had a physical son. This understanding is completely wrong, and we deny it in the strongest possible terms. God did not marry and did not beget in the physical sense. God forbid.

The expression "Son of God" in the Holy Bible means "the eternal Word of God," the Word who was with God before the beginning of time and space, and by whom God created everything. Let us read together the clearest verse in the entire Holy Bible:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." — John 1:1–3

Notice three truths in this verse: the Word existed in the beginning, which is eternity. The Word was with God. The Word was God, meaning He is God Himself. God and His Word are not two separate beings, but one. Think of it this way: can you separate a person from his speech? Your speech is the expression of your being, an inseparable part of your person. You cannot say, "I exist, but my speech does not exist," because your speech is you. Likewise, God and His Word are one in essence and nature.

Then the Holy Bible tells us that this eternal Word, who is God Himself, appeared in human form:

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." — John 1:14
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh." — 1 Timothy 3:16

God did not physically beget a son. God appeared by His Word in the flesh. This is the true meaning of the expression "Son of God": the one God chose to appear to us in human form so that we might see Him, know Him, and understand His love. Not a second God, but the one God in a human manifestation.

The Lord Jesus Christ Is Not the Jesus of the Qur'an

It is very important to understand that the Lord Jesus Christ whom the Holy Bible declares is radically different from "Isa son of Mary" whom the Qur'an mentions. The differences are not superficial, but essential.

The Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible is the eternal Word of God who existed before the creation of the world. He was not created and had no beginning. He is God manifest in the flesh. He died on the cross as a ransom for the sins of the world. He rose from the dead on the third day by His own power. He is the only way to God. There is no other way. He accepts worship because He is God.

"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." — John 14:6
"Before Abraham was, I am." — John 8:58
"I and my Father are one." — John 10:30

Why We Do Not Worship Three Gods

This is a question many people ask sincerely, and it deserves an honest answer. We do not worship three gods. Rather, we worship the one God who revealed Himself to us in three manifestations: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. They are not three separate gods, but one God in three persons, just as the sun is one but has a disk, light, and heat: three manifestations of one being.

The Holy Bible confirms this monotheism everywhere. The Old Testament uses the word "Elohim" to refer to God, and it is a plural form in Hebrew, but it always comes with a singular verb. One in essence, rich in manifestation. From the first verse of the Holy Bible, we see this:

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." — Genesis 1:1–3

In these three verses we see: God, the Father, created. The Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost, moved. And God said, the Word, and it was, because by "the Word" God created everything. One God working by His Word and His Spirit.

Man's Real Problem: Sin

In order to understand why you need salvation, you must first understand your problem before God. The problem is not that you committed some mistakes or that you are not perfect. The problem is much deeper than that. You, like every human being born on the face of the earth, were born with a sinful nature inherited from Adam.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." — Romans 3:23
"There is none righteous, no, not one." — Romans 3:10

The word "all" excludes no one: not the religious Muslim, not the Catholic who faithfully attends mass, not the Jehovah's Witness who diligently serves, not the pastor, not the monk, and not any other man. All have sinned. And the consequence is clear:

"For the wages of sin is death." — Romans 6:23

Death here is not merely physical death, but eternal separation from God. This is the destiny that awaits every sinful man who has not found a solution to the problem of his sin.

Why Works Cannot Save You

This is the greatest error into which most religions and sects fall: the belief that good works can erase sins and justify man before God.

Islam teaches that good works are placed in a balance against bad works. The Catholic Church teaches that the seven sacraments, good works, and the Church are necessary for salvation. The Jehovah's Witness organization teaches that salvation is conditional upon loyalty to the organization, field service, and meeting attendance. But the Holy Bible declares with absolute clarity:

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." — Ephesians 2:8–9
"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." — Romans 3:28
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." — Romans 4:5

Notice the words: "not of works," "without the deeds of the law," "to him that worketh not, but believeth." God does not accept your works as the price of your salvation because your works, however great they may be, cannot erase one sin. Prayer does not erase it, nor fasting, pilgrimage, alms, mass, confession to the priest, or hours of field service. The price is far greater than any man can pay.

What God Did for You: The Cross and the Resurrection

Because man is unable to save himself, God did what no man could do: the eternal Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, became incarnate and lived among us a complete life without one sin. Then He went to the cross willingly and bore upon Himself the sins of the whole world and paid their price with His precious blood.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." — Romans 5:8
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." — John 3:16

Notice the timing of love: "while we were yet sinners." God did not wait for us to fix ourselves. He did not require that we deserve His love. He loved us while we were in our worst state and died for us. This is grace: undeserved love.

And on the third day the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead, not by the power of someone else, but by His own power, because He is the living God. His resurrection is the decisive proof that His sacrifice was accepted and that the price was paid in full:

"Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." — 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
"Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification." — Romans 4:25

Salvation by Faith Alone: Not by Works and Not by Rituals

How do you receive this free salvation? By faith, by placing your complete trust in Jesus Christ alone. Not mere mental belief, because the devils also believe that God is one and tremble, but personal heartfelt trust that He died for you and rose again for your justification.

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." — Acts 16:31
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." — John 3:18

One condition: faith. Not "believe and work." Not "believe and join an organization." Not "believe and keep the law." Not "believe and receive the church sacraments." Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.

Eternal Life: A Gift That Cannot Be Taken Away

When you truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ from your heart, something immediate and irreversible happens: you receive eternal life at that moment, not a promise conditional upon your future works, but a present and certain reality:

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life." — John 3:36
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." — John 5:24
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." — John 10:28–29

"They shall never perish," this is not human hope, but an absolute divine promise. You are in the hand of Christ and in the hand of the Father together, and there is no power in the whole universe that can pluck you out.

A Special Message to You

If You Are Muslim

We respect you and love your people. But we want you to know that the Lord Jesus Christ is not merely a prophet. He is the eternal Word of God. And God is one. We agree on this principle, though you call Him Allah. But this one God loved you with an extraordinary personal love and died for you. Read the Gospel of John for yourself and ask God to show you the truth.

If You Are Catholic

Church sacraments, the saints, the Virgin Mary, and the priest cannot save you. Jesus Christ alone is the Mediator between God and men. You do not need a human priest. You have the right to enter directly into the throne of grace by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

If You Are One of Jehovah's Witnesses

The organization taught you that Jesus is Michael the archangel, but the Holy Bible says He is God manifest in the flesh. Your salvation is not conditional upon your loyalty to a human organization, but upon your personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

If You Are Christian by Name

Being born into a Christian family does not make you a true Christian before God. You need a personal decision of faith, a moment in which you place your trust completely in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for your salvation.

If You Are an Atheist

Perhaps you do not believe in the existence of God. But the Holy Bible says that creation itself bears witness to His existence: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork" (Psalm 19:1). Read the Holy Bible with an open mind and ask: if there is a God, does He want me to know Him?

An Invitation to Receive Divine Salvation — Accept The Lord Jesus Christ as Your Personal Saviour

Dear reader — if these words have touched your heart and you have recognised that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour, know that God is calling you to Himself in this very moment. You do not need a priest, or a human mediator, or a holy place, or rituals or works. The Lord Jesus Christ paid the full price on the cross, and the promise of God is certain and clear:

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." — Romans 10:13

What saves you is not the words of this prayer — but the faith in your heart that the Lord Jesus Christ died for you and rose from the dead. But if you want to express your faith in sincere words, read this prayer with a humble heart as though you are speaking to the living God:

The Prayer of Salvation

"O Great, Holy, and Loving True God,

I come to You now with complete humility, confessing that I am a sinner. I have broken Your commandments many times in my thoughts, in my words, and in my deeds. I know that my sin deserves eternal death and eternal separation from You. I have no good work I can offer that is able to redeem my soul, and no righteousness of my own to cover my nakedness before Your holiness.

But I believe with all my heart in the testimony of Your Word that Your only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins — bearing in my place the punishment I deserved. I believe that He was buried, and that He rose from the dead on the third day, alive and victorious over death and the grave, and that He is alive now unto the ages of ages.

In this blessed moment, I receive the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. I trust in Him alone — not in my works, not in my religion, not in rituals or any person or angel or saint. On the Lord Jesus Christ alone, and on His precious blood shed on the cross, I build the hope of my eternal salvation.

I thank You, my Father, that You have now received me in the Lord Jesus Christ, and have forgiven all my sins, and have given me eternal life as a free gift by Your grace. I thank You that You have sent Your Holy Ghost to dwell in my heart, bearing witness to me that I have become Your child. Give me grace to know You more day by day, and to live the rest of my life for Your glory alone.

I pray all this in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Ghost. Amen."

After You Have Prayed — What Now?

If you prayed this prayer from a truly believing heart, the greatest miracle in all your history has happened in this moment: you have passed from death to life, from darkness to light, from the kingdom of sin into the kingdom of the beloved Son of God. You have become a child of the living God, and God's own promise guarantees this to you in His trustworthy Word:

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." — John 1:12

Notice the power of this promise: "gave he power" — a settled right, guaranteed, not a wish or a possibility. And notice "them that believe on his name" — not "those who performed great deeds," not "those who completed rituals," but simply "them that believe." You are now one of them — with absolute certainty.

Here are five simple steps to establish you in your new life with the Lord Jesus Christ:

First — Read the King James Bible every day. Begin with the Gospel of John, then continue through the rest of the New Testament, then the Psalms and Proverbs. God speaks to you through His Word as a father speaks with his son. Do not read quickly — read with meditation and prayer. "The holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation" (2 Timothy 3:15).

Second — Pray every day. Speak to God as a loving Father — not with memorised words, but with words from your heart. Share with Him your joys and sorrows and questions and fears. Prayer is the breathing of the Christian life. "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

Third — Join a Bible-believing church. Do not walk this road alone. Faith grows in the fellowship of believers, where the Word is preached faithfully and baptism and the Lord's Supper are practised according to the King James Bible. "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together" (Hebrews 10:25).

Fourth — Be baptised according to the King James Bible. Baptism is not a condition for salvation, but it is the first step of obedience after faith. It is a public declaration that you died with the Lord Jesus Christ and were buried with Him and rose with Him to a new life. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved" (Mark 16:16) — faith first, then baptism as its natural fruit.

Fifth — Witness to others about the Lord Jesus Christ. What you have experienced of salvation and love cannot remain hidden. Begin with your family and friends. Tell them simply and honestly how the Lord Jesus Christ changed your life. "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you" (1 John 1:3).

And finally, remember always that your salvation is not built on your feelings or on any work you perform — but on the unchanging promise of God:

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life."
— 1 John 5:13

Notice: "that ye may know" — not "that ye may hope," not "that ye may wish," not "that ye may wait in anxious fear." But that ye may know with complete, unshakeable certainty that you have eternal life. This is the difference between all the world's religions and the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ: religions say "work and perhaps you will be saved" — and the Word of God alone says: "believe and know that you are saved."
